A better Notion MCP server - Enhance Notion experience with AI Agent integration on AgentX.

Integrating your favorite tools with AI Agents can supercharge your workflow. With AgentX, you can connect various Model Context Protocol (MCPs) like Notion, enabling your AI Agents to access, organize, and act on information stored in Notion workspaces. This guide walks you step-by-step through adding a Notion MCP to your AI Agent on AgentX.

Step 2: Find Notion API token and set the right permission

Or you can find it on the settings page:

  1. Click your profile in the top left corner and click Settings.

  2. In the pop-up window, click Connections. (If there are two buttons called Connections, either one works).

  3. And then scroll down, click Develop or manage integrations. (See image 3)

Once you are on the Notion integrations page. Create a new API token. (See image 4)

  1. Click New Integration.

  2. Pick a name for the integration. Like "AgentX Integration".

  3. Choose a workspace to integrate with.

  4. Now you have successfully created your Notion API token.

Congrats🎉! Now your AI Agent is successfully integrated with your Notion workspace!

Let's see it in action.

Example: "Write a joke about growth in the Growth page". (See image 7)

You can see how the AI agent finishes the task by:

  1. Searching for the page with the name "Growth" and finding its page ID.

  2. Locating the sub-blocks on the page.

  3. Write the content in a new block at the bottom of the page.

All those actions and the decision-making process occurred autonomously and were transparently reflected in the chain of thought.
