Create Apollo API key, then edit or create a new AI agent on AgentX. Go to Tools tab in Agent setup and find Apollo in MCP integrations. Click install. And add the Apollo key and click check and save. Now your AI Agent is successfully connected with Apollo IO.

This guide walks you step-by-step through adding a Apollo IO MCP to your AI Agent on AgentX.
Prerequisites
Before started, make sure you have the following:
An AgentX account. (Create an account if you do not have one yet - it's free!)
A Apollo account (Free account maybe limited on what you can do.)
Log in to your Apollo account and navigate to Admin Settings → Integrations at bottom left.
In the next page, scroll down to find API block and click Connect.
In the next page, click API keys tab at left side and then click Create new key if you do not have one.
Give it a name and description however you like.
Make sure to select all the permissions like following and click Create API key
Now your API key is successfully created, you can now copy it and we will use it later.
Log in to AgentX workspace.
Select an AI agent and edit or create new.
Go to Tools tab to the left.
In the MCP Integrations, find Apollo io and click install.
In the pop up window, copy and paste the API key that we just generated to here.
Then click Check MCP Server. Once it loaded, click Save MCP Server.
Now your Apollo IO MCP integration is successfully added. (See what is MCP?)
Try ask the agent: List 5 companies that are in roof business. 10-50 size.
